On July 10, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee released the bill to authorize a $12 billion, cross-cutting DOE AI initiative to drive innovation and mitigate risk for science, energy, and national security applications. This legislation would guide future DOE AI research priorities and funding opportunities.

NSF and the CHIPS for America Research and Development Office have released a Request for Information (RFI) in support of the creation of a National Network for Microelectronics Education (NNME) led by a National Network Coordination Hub.
