The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is requesting feedback on their draft Low Earth Orbit Microgravity Strategy. This document addresses the future of human presence in low Earth orbit (LEO) to advance space science and exploration. The strategy includes 12 goals and 42 objectives covering six areas: science, exploration-enabling research and technology development, commercial low Earth orbit infrastructure, operations, international cooperation, and workforce and engagement. To ensure these goals meet the needs of the space community, NASA is seeking feedback from U.S. industry, academia, international partners, and other stakeholders. Stakeholders can give feedback on each of the goals and objectives by close of business on September 27, 2024.
In addition, NASA will hold two invite-only workshops in September with international partners and U.S. industry and academics to discuss the draft goals and objectives.
If you need assistance submitting feedback, let us know. If you are interested in participating, please send us the names of interested individuals as soon as possible so we can facilitate your potential involvement.
