Hearing Update: House Science Committee Emphasizes Need for U.S. National Science and Technology Strategy

On February 28, the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee held a hearing to assess U.S. leadership in science and technology and the impacts to U.S. competitiveness and national security of China’s attempts to surpass U.S. scientific leadership. A major focus of the hearing was to identify key objectives for a U.S. National Science and Technology Strategy and a quadrennial science and technology review to maintain U.S. competitiveness.
