DOE Research and Funding Priorities for Biological, Climate and Environmental Sciences

This Lewis-Burke Associates report provides an update and advance intelligence on recent activities, emerging priorities, and future opportunities within the Department of Energy (DOE) Biological and Environmental Research (BER) program. This analysis is based on information from the virtual BER Advisory Committee (BERAC) meeting held on April 19-20, 2023, the FY 2024 President’s budget request, and discussions with DOE program managers.
