Budget Update: HHS Releases Budget Request Details for NIH and Other Subagencies

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released fiscal year (FY) 2026 Congressional Justifications for its subagencies, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Administration for a Healthy America (AHA), and Administration for Children, Families, and Communities (ACFC). These documents contain additional office- and program-level detail beyond what was included in the HHS Budget in Brief released on May 30, including information about the proposed reorganizations of HHS and NIH.
