Lewis-Burke Associates has provided campus with a report about future funding opportunities related to the Department of Energy’s eight Energy Earthshots. DOE Earthshots are focused on increasing and prioritizing research, development, and demonstration investments in clean energy technologies over the next decade that will help the United States meet net-zero carbon goals by 2050. Until Congress finalizes FY 2024 appropriations, there is a lot of uncertainty on the scale and timing of future funding opportunities tied to the Energy Earthshots. However, this analysis highlights opportunities based on current DOE plans and congressional direction.
