On July 26, the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee approved its draft fiscal year (FY) 2025 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies (CJS) appropriations bill and associated committee report. The Senate Committee used emergency spending to fund non-defense agencies above the tight Fiscal Responsibility Caps.
