ONR Long Range BAA for Navy and Marine Corps Science and Technology

October 2, 2024

Lewis-Burke has provided campus with a report about ONR's new BAA. Through the BAA, ONR is seeking S&T proposals that can advance and improve Navy and Marine Corps operations. ONRG serves as an external network facilitator, deepening ONR’s connections with the Naval research enterprise by supporting fundamental research, seed grants, conferences, and workshops that foster collaboration between the U.S. Navy and the international S&T community. Proposals to this BAA should incorporate the missions of ONR Global (ONRG) and the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL) by pursuing research across various science and engineering disciplines, addressing technology areas essential to each entities' work. All responsible sources from academia (including university affiliated research centers (UARCs)), industry, small and large businesses, and the research community may submit proposals under this BAA. This announcement will remain open for approximately one year from the date of publication and the DOD may not review proposals submitted after September 30, 2025.
