Lewis-Burke has provided campus with an analysis of two new IES opportunities. The “Special Education Dissertation Research Fellowship Program” competition is out of the National Center for Special Education Research (NCSER) and is focused on preparing “individuals to conduct rigorous and relevant education and special education research” which is intended to assist doctoral students with their studies. The “Strengthening Program Evaluation Capacity” competition is out of the National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE) and will support the ability of organizations to “design and conduct rigorous evaluations of a proposed postsecondary student success intervention[s].”
