The CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 (CHIPS+) appropriated $54 billion to support onshoring of semiconductor manufacturing, innovation, and workforce initiatives. This included more than $13 billion for semiconductor research and development. This Lewis-Burke Associates' report summarizes large-scale semiconductor R&D opportunities included in CHIPS+ of relevance to the research community and provides advance intelligence on the likely timing of federal solicitations.
