Funding Opportunity: NSF Announces Foundations for Digital Twins as Catalyzers of Biomedical Technological Innovation Program

Lewis-Burke Associates has provided campus with a report about NSF's solicitation for Foundations for Digital Twins as Catalyzers of Biomedical Technological Innovation Program (FDT-BioTech) will support interdisciplinary and transformative research projects that expedite the advancement of innovative mathematical, statistical, and engineering approaches that support the development and implementation of Digital Twins technologies in the biomedical and healthcare fields.  This solicitation includes the NSF Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS), Division of Mathematical Sciences (DMS), the NSF Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE), Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC), in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Data Science Strategy (ODSS), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  NSF plans to make 6-10 awards, with total funding of up to $5 million.  Proposals are due June 21, 2024.
