National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) is hosting a free, public two-day workshop September 16 and 17 focusing on the generative AI applications in environmental sciences. The workshop includes discussions focusing on AI in earth and space sciences, trustworthiness and workforce development in AI, generative AI in scientific workflows, and public-private partnerships in AI. Researchers looking to bridge the gap between environmental sciences and AI may use this workshop to gain inspiration for research in the field and network with NOAA mission-oriented individuals.
